DESCRIPTION
THE NINJA SAVIORS - RETURN OF THE WARRIORS
In THE NINJA SAVIORS – Return of the Warriors, the player assumes the role of one of five android ninjas to take on the tyrant Banglar and his henchmen with a variety of individual moves in a dystopian future.
It is based on “The Ninja Warriors”, the beat ‘em up smash hit for Super Nintendo in 1994, which in turn was a remake of the original arcade game “The Ninja Warriors” launched by Taito in 1987. The main developers of that time, “TENGO PROJECT”, decided to do a remake of their own game after 25 years.
The 16-bit pixel art of the classic has been retained, but significantly revised to take advantage of modern gaming hardware. Two new playable characters have been added, as well as a two-player co-op mode, which was not possible in “The Ninja Warriors Again”. Of course the legendary sound of TAITO’s house band ZUNTATA is part of the fun once again.

THE HISTORY OF “THE NINJA WARRIORS”
“The Ninja Warriors” is a side-scrolling action game launched by Taito in 1987 that took advantage of a unique arcade cabinet with three displays. The special feature of this arcade title was its unique view on the world, which was represented by a serious story and stylish graphics. Furthermore, the music “DADDY MULK” composed by ZUNTATA is known as one of the best game music masterpieces. Later in 1994 its remake “The Ninja Warriors” came to the market for Super Nintendo.
